Day 20 – Handling the Undead by John A. Lindqvist

Ever wonder what the beginning of a zombie apocalypse might look like? This book is a slow burn approach to that question. It follows multiple characters who witness their late loved ones mysteriously returning… changed, and explores what emotions, other than fear, might go along with that. One man even sits by the grave of his grandson, waiting hopefully for him to rise. It really tugged at my heart strings! As usual with Lindqvist, not for the faint of heart.
