Day 17 – A Stranger in the House by Shari Lapena
This one is for anyone who is looking to follow a story down a dark and windy path of psychological thrills. When Karen wakes up from a bad car crash, she can’t remember anything about what happened. Why she left the house in such a rush, why she was speeding and running lights, where she was going — it’s all blank. Unfortunately for her, the police say a dead body was found near the site of her accident, and amnesia isn’t the best alibi for murder. It may sound straightforward, but trust me when I say this one has so many twists, it borders on ridiculous. A really fun read that will keep you guessing all the way until the end.
