Hi all! Big thanks to Siobhan of Siobhan’s Novelties for tagging me on this one. I do enjoy a good book tag and ANYTHING autumn-themed 🙂
The Rules
- Link back to the original creator in your post.
- Feel free to use any of my graphics in your post, or create your own!
- Tag 7 other people at the end of your post, and let them know you’ve tagged
Sourdough by Robin Sloan. I listened to this on audio during a really rough time. I wanted a distraction that wouldn’t remind me of anything sad or stressful that was going on in my life, and it worked. What’s more comforting than freshly baked sourdough?!
It’s starting to die down now, but for a while I was seeing My Sister, the Serial Killer
by Oyinkan Braithwaite EVERYWHERE. I haven’t read it yet, but it’s definitely on my radar.
Geekerella by Ashley Poston. I love how the friendship between Elle and Sage builds.
The Library of Lost and Found by Phaedra Patrick. A desperately sweet protagonist. A library. A mysterious book. An eccentric grandmother. And a family secret. It was everything I wanted in a book that day.
Heartless by Marissa Meyer. I craved all the sweets while reading this one! I still like to throw on the audio for inspiration when I’m in the kitchen baking by own treats.
Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik. That moment early on (not a spoiler) when Miryem decides to take it upon herself to go get the money her family is owed filled me with glee.
If you’re into it (no pressure), I tag:
Sara, Classy X Book Reviews, Stephanie, Haley, Jemma, Meeghan, Larissa
thanks for the tag darling xx i never hear of sourdough before. it seems quite interesting, so i will have to look into it 🙂
