Greed | What is your most expensive book and what is your least expensive book?
I paid a pretty penny for my copy of Grimm’s Fairy Tales — it’s beautiful, no regrets.
I recently bought The Nutcracker and the Mouse King e-book for just .99 cents. Side note: is Maria only 8 years old when she marries the Nutcracker?? What is happening???!!!
Wrath | Which author do you have a love/hate relationship with?
Kelley Armstrong — hands down. I get so sucked into her worlds even though I know, based on experience, that I will inevitably dislike the main characters and often find the relationships they end up in completely toxic.
Gluttony | What book have you deliciously devoured over and over again with no remorse whatsoever?
I’m not much of a re-reader. I think the only books I’ve read more than once in my adult life have been Dawn (Book 1 of Lilith’s Brood, Octavia Butler) and Frankenstein (Mary Shelley).
Sloth | What book have you neglected reading due to laziness?
It (Stephen King) — it’s massive and I don’t like him enough to convince myself to get through it all.
Pride | Which book do you most talk about in order to sound like a very intellectual reader?
Haha, I guess 1984; though, I do love that book.
Lust | What attributes do you find most attractive in male and female characters?
Hmm… I guess a good sense of humour and open-mindedness. Characters who blatantly look down on others drive me nuts. Very unattractive.
Envy | What book would you most like to receive as a gift?
In general, graphic novels. They’re my most expensive vice! I have far more kindles than hard copies, just to save the $$… That said, I do like reading comics in digital format. It’s nice that you can zoom in and large spreads don’t get broken up.
