Hi all! My goal this holiday season is to crochet a bunch of tree ornaments. I already have a beautiful DIY ornament that my mom made for me last year (Thanks mom! I still β₯ this!).
I also picked up an adorable knitting owl decoration this summer.
This year, I hope to really get into it. Here’s a round up of some amazing patterns I’ve found online.
Ribbon Trees for Your Tree
A tree on a tree – I love how cooky that is! Pattern available here.
Crochet Holly
I haven’t found a pattern for this one yet, but I’m confident I can figure it out. It will be worth the trouble π
Happy Snowman Head
I feel the need to specify this snowman head is happy; otherwise, he just seems beheaded (but in a cute way?). Pattern available here.
Crochet Snowflakes
These would be quick and easy to make, especially if you are already familiar with making granny squares. And on that note – plenty of beautiful granny squares would make great tree decorations.
Crochet Candy Canes
My husband and I have had the SAME candy canes on our tree for years – that’s right, years. We don’t know what they would taste like at this point. But I’m thinking crochet canes might be a better idea! Pattern available here.
This is actually a gift card holder, which is an amazing idea! I also think it would be cute on a tree, though. Pattern available here.
Crochet Poinsettia
For Halloween, I posted this Candy Corn pinwheel tutorial. I’m convinced doing this in all red would make an excellent Poinsettia, so I’m going to test that theory this season.

Love that holly! And Iβve been making crochet snowflakes to hang in my tree this year, itβs probably the easiest I can manage π
