Recipe – Egg & Avocado Toast


I’m on a life-long quest to make eggs more interesting. This is my latest idea: Egg & Avocado Toast.


What you need:

  • Frying pan
  • 1 tsp butter or oil
  • 1 slice of favourite bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 avocado (sliced)
  • Sriracha (optional)

What to do:

  1. Cut (or rip) a yoke sized hole out of the middle of the bread
  2. Heat butter or oil in pan
  3. Add bread to pan and crack egg into the hole
  4. Flip halfway through, cooking until both sides are evenly toasted and egg whites look cooked
  5. Top with avocado slices
  6. Drizzle sriracha (optional)


Note: For runny eggs, don’t break the yoke
