Recipe – Spider Cupcakes

My mom sent me a pic she found online of spider-decorated cupcakes and I just HAD to make my own. I didn’t look up any instructions, I just did what made sense to me. They came out great!

What you need:

• Cupcake pan
• 12 cupcake cups
• Cupcake Mix (I used Buttercream Vanilla)
  • Batter and icing (in the box)
  • An egg
  • 2 tbs oil (I used coconut)
  • 2/3 cup water
• Handmixer (OPTIONAL)
• Mini Reese Cups
• Candy Eyeballs
• Brown or Black icing gel

What to do:

1. Make cupcakes according to the box instructions
2. Let cool for about an hour
3. Add icing
4. In the centre of each cupcake, place an upside down reese cup
5. Use icing gel to stick eyes onto each reese cup
6. Use icing gel to draw 8 legs out of each reese cup
